_{This is my na'vi chara. ahead of the upcoming film Avatar (and no, its no relation to the anime of the same name). Very little seems to have leaked about this film, which makes it even more intreguing. All I know about it is that its about a species called the Na'Vi who live on Pandora; and are blue-glowing creatures. Which makes it awesome. May turn out to be a bad movie after all the hype, but I hope not. I love the character design, even if the eyes do look a little creepy in some shots. It was quite tricky to draw one with near no refs apart from a few pixely printscreens. I didnt draw the eyes all buggy-eyed so mine looks more like a cat anthro. But I like it better this way
What started of as trying to draw the main chara. quickly turned into what I would look like as a Na'vi. I used a ref pic of myself (as I couldnt find a good pose on google) so it turned into me . She has a cresent moon on the left of her face, and below her knee-cap. Her ears are the same shape as my OC blue as well ^^. Random tiger like stripes. Im proud of her eyes!

I dont do backgrounds. But I have tried my very very hardest with this. Originally the background was in shades of blue, but I reckon it looks more effective with a little pink/purple in there too. I cant draw clouds. Or hands (yes, they do only have 3 fingers). But I have to keep practicing them!
Another art-style. I cant help but keep switching. This is more my natural digital-style though. Art foundation has taught me only one thing to help with this picture, and that is that the colour black doesnt exist. (dont argue, we all know it does really).And life drawing. I do life drawing once a week; and I think that helps tons.

Why dont I put in this much effort on all my pieces. This is the sort of stuff you should be expecting next year.

Ive put so much time and effort into this, I dont want any crit. please. Normally I would, but not on this one thanks. I really hope I get more then about 5 comments/faves.
